The Sony HDR-CX740V Handycam camcorder records special moments in HD and saves them to its 32 GB internal memory, an SD card or Memory Stick. In fact, the 6.1-megapixel CMOS sensor shoots video footage in AVCHD quality (max. 1920 x 1080 pixels), or 24.1-megapixel photos.

The 30x optical zoom on the HDR CX740V gets you closer to the subject, capturing the tiniest details. Meanwhile, the BIONZ image processor is teamed with x.v.Colour and a digital image stabiliser to really make your work stand out.  

For maximum user-friendliness, the Sony HDRCX740V has a 3-inch LCD touch screen and autofocus. In terms of connectivity, the HDR-CX740V offers several video outputs, including an HDMI socket and a retractable USB cable for easy exports to a computer. There's even an integrated GPS and maps for adding coordinates to your creations.
